Sorry for the late notice on this, but if you missed Brook's open house at the last meetup, here is your 2nd chance! I highly recommend you stop by to see what she has setup - she's done an excellent job. You will have to contact Brook (info below) for her home address. Here's the info:

Water Harvesting Open House
Sunday, June 14th 10am-2pm Talmadge (zip 92115)
Suggested Donation: $5 to benefit water activism in San Diego

Come see water harvesting in action! See how a 1320 gallon rainwater tank combined with laundry greywater and bath greywater work together to grow plenty of edibles using only 20 gallons of city water per person per day in San Diego. (Average for San Diego is 80 gallons per person per day) There is also natural building demonstrated on site in the form of an earth pizza oven, a cob chicken coop, and a cob bench. Talk to Brook Sarson, Water Harvesting Professional and Permaculturist to find out what solutions can work for you in your space and how you can make a difference during San Diego's water crisis and beyond.

Please respond to Brook at [masked] and she will send you her home address. Or call Brook at: [masked] with any last minute help on directions.

thanks again to Brook!

    •  Brook (how's that for the perfect name for someone in water conservation! : ) held a really terrific open house. It was really great to see conservation solutions in place and in a warm home environment. I loved the space and am really excited to learn and do more at my home.
